Ringlets

Ringworms are mushrooms of the basidiomycete class, cultivated in Poland for many years. They have great nutritional value, They're delicious, suitable for frying, stewing and marinating. These mushrooms are extremely resistant to bad environmental conditions. During the mycelium outgrowth, the ambient temperature should be 22 ° C, while harvesting, it can drop even to 10 ° C. This allows mushrooms to be grown outdoors, e.g.: along walls or hedges, on the perches insulated from the bottom layer of the earth only with foil, to protect against ants and earthworms. The perch should be in a place sheltered from the wind, in partial shade, but away from the cultivation of hemp and corn.
Allotment frames can also be used for cultivation (free from May), sheds, greenhouses, foil tunnels (minimum 60 cm in height), wooden frames with foil windows. You just have to remember to shape the ground like this, so that it is slightly tilted – this prevents the mushrooms from flooding during rain.

The year-round cultivation of ringlets can be carried out in cellars, in boxes with an area 0,5 m2 and height 25 cm. In warm cellars, with central heating, it is necessary to maintain adequate humidity, by pouring water on the floor or placing a flat vessel of water on it.
