Of mineral fertilizers, phosphorus fertilizers are recommended in quantity 11..16,5 kg superfosfatu (18% P2O5) and 100 m2 and potassium in the amount of 3…6 kg of potassium sulfate (50% K2O) or 3.8…7,5 kg of potassium salt (40% K2O) and 100 m2 both under the trees, as well as berry bushes. These fertilizers are characterized by low mobility in the soil and therefore should be applied before planting.
The appropriate doses of fertilizers, taking into account their mutual proportions, are best determined on the basis of the results of chemical analyzes of the soil. The soil is taken with a tablespoon of 2…4 shallow pits dug to the depth of the arable layer. The soil taken from the top is poured separately, humus layer, and separately from the subsoil (from the dimples). A sample from a given layer should contain approx. 0,5 kg of soil. After air drying, the samples are marked with a sheet of the name and address of the owner, download date and depth, and then sent to the nearest Regional Chemical and Agricultural Station. Chemical analyzes of the soil should also be performed during the plot's use in the following years, but more often than not 4 years. The soil is then collected in the inter-rows of trees.
