The substrate for the cultivation of ringlets can be straw from all cereals or linen shives. To the surface 1 m2 you need 20…25 kg of clean and fresh straw. Mold will quickly develop on dirty and dark straw, which greatly reduces the yield. The straw is soaked for 6…10 days, watering it twice a day. You can also soak the straw in a barrel, a tub or tub through no more than 48 hours. The drained straw must have this moisture content, so that a few drops of water will run out of your hand when you squeeze it. The straw is formed into heights 25 cm or placed in boxes or frames, and then proceeds to planting the mycelium.
The mycelium is available in the horticultural trade. It is bought in cylinders (foil bags). One pack is enough for 1 m2 of cultivation. Only good mycelium can be planted, i.e.. mold free (no green raid), with the smell of fresh mushrooms.
The mycelium is cut into small pieces and placed to a depth of 5…8 cm, the planting place is taped. After planting is finished, the entire perch, box etc.. covered with moist newspapers, bags or corrugated paper. The cover is kept at a constant humidity, sprinkling them with water from time to time. Inside the crop, the temperature should be 25…28do temp. After approx. 4 weeks the mycelium begins to outgrow and appears on the surface. The papers should then be replaced 5 cm with a layer of casing soil, that is, peat mixed with humus soil in the ratio 2:1. High peat can be purchased at garden stores, instead, you can use soil from coniferous or deciduous forests. On 1 m2 of cultivation requires two 10-liter buckets of such land, which must meet the following conditions:
– mieć kwasowość na poziomie pH 5,7…6,0. Acidity is measured with a Hellig acid meter, which can be purchased at garden stores. If it shows a pH below 5,7, add soil from the garden, if above 6,0 – peat;
– mieć wilgotność 70…75%. It works like this, like the moisture of the straw before planting the mycelium;
– być odkażona, if the crop has more than 3 m2. Decontamination can be accomplished by passing steam through the casing soil through 15 min or by pouring a solution of formalin on the ground. On 1 m2 of land solution is needed 3 And 40 percent formalin dissolved in 20 And water. The poured soil is tightly covered with foil and left on 3 days. The earth is then shifted over the course of a few days, that the formalin vapors can escape.
