Currently, beekeeping is trying to do this, that the bees build honeycombs in a wooden housing, plastic or, exceptionally, metal. This is achieved by fusing the hose, forming the beginning of the patch, between stainless wires, tightened properly in the frame light. Bordered slices, known as bee or poison drought in beekeeping, can be freely hung in the hive, repeatedly used for the storage of commercial honey and easily replaced when damaged or aged.
From a practical point of view, it stands out:
virgin drought – in whose cells the brood was not raised,
dry brown – in which several generations of individuals were killed
dark dry – in which a dozen or so generations have gotten away.
A specific type of drought is added to bee colonies for the multiplication of bees or drones or for depositing honey in it, sugar and pollen supply. The point is, to be in individual families, and consequently in the apiary, so regulate the process of development of bees, to obtain the greatest possible mass of products, without disregarding the needs of the bee colony. Each bee colony tends to work in a different direction. Some raise too many offspring, while others prefer the collection of nectar. In the first case, excessive development leads to a natural division of the family – swarms – which significantly reduces the honey yield, in the second, the family is weakened, which may result in a poor cold condition and, consequently, poor results in the production of honey in the next year.
