It owes its name to the French gardener Filip Noisette, which in the breeding of varieties of this breed played a significant role. This breed was started by bred in a year 1810 in United States (Charlston), by John Champneys, odmiana Champneys Pink Climber. It was indeed a long-stemmed - climbing rose, about rising to 2 m, but it amazed most of all with the size of its pink flowers and its strong scent. Mainly the French contributed to the development of this breed, especially Vibert; In a short time, a mass of varieties with a wide range of colors and abundant was obtained, repeated flowering. At the peak of the popularity of this breed at the end of the last century - it was held upwards 200 varieties. However, they showed large differences in terms of the strength of growth (next to the long shoots there were also low ones, shrubby) and in terms of resistance to frost; no wonder then, that careers did not make, not finding, mainly because of its sensitivity, usage. Some variations, like for example. Euphrosine, Reve d’Or, William Allen Rochardson, they were also cultivated here in the first twenty years of the previous century. However, they did not withstand the competition with more resistant and more effective varieties, they were therefore abandoned.
