Scorzonera – snake murder, black root
biennial, grown in southern Europe, in the Caucasus and Siberia. Rarely seen in Poland, sometimes cultivated. The edible root is suitable as a vegetable.
Jerusalem artichoke – Jerusalem artichoke, bulb
perennial with underground tubers, similar to potatoes, but more sweet and juicy than them. It comes from North America. Used for baking bread and other diabetic foods.
