Parsnips and Patison

Parsnips
biennial, common, in Poland it grows on balks, meadows and roads, also cultivated. Sweet roots, edible, with a carrot scent and a pleasant aroma. Parsnips are a rather forgotten vegetable.

Patison
annual plant, originally from America, resembling two folded ones, inside to yourself, dishes, jokingly called "flying saucer". Fruit, white with a greenish tinge, breaks off immature, when their diameter is approx. 10 cm (five weeks after sowing). They are suitable for salad and vegetables.
