White and red cabbage and savoy cabbage. They store well and are commercially available all year round. Fertile soil is required for their cultivation, heavier and moist, position in the first and second year after manure and preservation of a 4-year crop rotation. Cabbage is grown from seedlings, which requires temp. 15…16° C due to the tendency to knock out into flower shoots. After the cotyledons have developed, the seedlings are picked at spacing 5 x 5 cm.

Planting date: half of IV, in spacing 50 x 40…50 cm.
