Radish. It is a plant with the shortest growing season. It is insensitive to cold, requires an even and fertile water supply, well-fertilized soil in the second year after manure. In summer, it shoots flower shoots, therefore it is grown for spring and autumn harvest, from sowing straight into the ground. Sowing dates: in the inspection – Melon; under the foil – end of III…Melon; in the ground – III. „IV; for the fall harvest – VIII. Variations: for cultivation under cover and early – Scarlet with a White End, A Krakow citizen, Rocks, Cherry Belle; ground-Tetra Iłówiecka, Wurzburg, Icicle (White, for the fall harvest).
Radish. It is grown similar to radish, but on a much smaller scale. Its requirements are similar to those of the radish.

turnip. It is grown like radish and radish. Sowing date: Melon…VII.
Variations: snowball, gold ball.
Brukiew – rutabaga. It is grown from sowing directly into the ground, as described above.
