Radish. It is a plant with the shortest growing season. It is insensitive to cold, requires an even and fertile water supply, well-fertilized soil in the second year after manure. In summer, it shoots flower shoots, therefore it is grown for spring and autumn harvest, from sowing straight into the ground. Variations: for cultivation under cover and early – Scarlet with a White End, A Krakow citizen, Rocks, Cherry Belle; ground-Tetra Iłówiecka, Wurzburg, Icicle (White, for the fall harvest).

Variations: snowball, gold ball.
Brukiew – rutabaga. It is grown from sowing directly into the ground, as described above.
