Pumpkin – Pettison

Pumpkin. It is a very fertile and easy to grow plant. Keeps well. He likes warmth, requires large amounts of water, but its soil requirements are low. It grows best in humus soils with the addition of mineral fertilizers in the first year after manure. It is grown from sowing directly into the ground or from seedlings produced in the inspection, which speeds up the harvest.
Sowing date: half of V, in spacing 1,5 x 2 m. Variations: gourd – Child, Melon Yellow; other cultivars – Courgette, Cucurbit, Pettison (Pettison), Macaroni Pumpkin.

Pettison – watermelon. Has requirements, as to the position, soil and crops, same as melon. Does not require cutting. It is necessary to keep a larger spacing than in the case of melons: 1,5×1 m.
