In generative plant reproduction, the following types of sowing are distinguished : projective – used under covers or when sowing plants for green fertilizer, as well as when setting up a lawn. The uneven distribution of seeds in this sowing makes it difficult to care for the plants later; inline – ułatwiający walkę z chwastami, and if the rows are facing north-south, the plants grown from the seeds are evenly illuminated; band - the advantage of which is that the plants do not shade each other, used in the large-scale cultivation of carrots, parsley, onions, beet (if herbicides are used); bright red- in which passages facilitate care and harvesting, used in the cultivation of peas, onions, carrots, parsley; punctual – used when sowing large or very valuable seeds, e.g. beans, corn, broad beans, peas, asparagus, sunflower, this method conserves seed and avoids seedling breakage; socket – used when sowing cucumbers, broad beans, beans.
