Fertilizing the nursery

Fertilization is an important cultivation procedure – the most beneficial with organic fertilizers. However, due to the difficulties in purchasing them and the limited possibilities of producing compost on your own plot, organic fertilizers should be used primarily before planting trees and shrubs., and later also use mineral fertilizers.
If the plants have been planted in well-prepared soil and if black fallow is kept underneath them, in the first 3…4 years, mineral fertilization is limited only to sowing in spring after 1…2 handfuls of nitrogen fertilizer under each tree. From the fourth year on, trees are not fertilized individually, a spreads fertilizer over the entire surface of the orchard. You can also use multi-component fertilizers, e.g.: Fruit, Azophos (they also contain micronutrients). They should be sown in an amount of 5…8 kg in 100 m2.
When growing berry plants, individual fertilization is not used, even in the first years after planting. They are so dense, that fertilizers are spread over the entire surface. Due to the sensitivity of berry plants to chlorides, potassium sulfate should be used instead of potassium salt. For good yields, use manure whenever possible (2…3 buckets around the tree), then reducing the dose of mineral fertilizers by half. Also every 3…4 for years, the soil should be limed, preferably with magnesium lime.
