device for watering bees, e.g. container placed on a platform, fitted with a tap at the bottom, from which the water flows down in drops onto the sloping board, provided with zig-zag grooves or similar nailed slats.

melter
device for obtaining pure wax from honeycombs, nurseries, shutters, wax waste. The wax melts when exposed to high temperatures. Depending on the source of thermal energy, melters are distinguished.: sunny, used to melt the wax from the so-called. virgin honeycombs (in which the redneck was never brought up) and scraps of hose (an artificially formed from pure wax beginning of the patch, which is fixed in frames), steam and electric – for melting the wax from dried fruit (defective slices, not suitable for further use).

Transport bag
device for the periodic transfer and storage of honeycombs and for the transport of swarms and bee colonies. It is a light box made of plywood or fibreboards with frames for hanging frames and a cover and a sufficiently large opening secured with a net (to provide ventilation to the bees).

Topiarka
rubber tube with an outer diameter of approx. 10 mm and inside approx. 8 mm and length 800 mm, used to interrogate voices from inside the hive.
