When gluing ceramic floor tiles as well as wall tiles, place them on an evenly distributed adhesive mortar. The mortar is applied to the substrate with a notched trowel. However, when gluing large floor tiles with dimensions greater than 30×30 cm, it is recommended to apply the mortar also on the reverse side of the tile. It will guarantee, that the applied and pressed tile will be glued on the largest possible surface. Experts refer to this method as double gluing.
