Weldable bituminous membranes for covering flat and sloping roofs with a low inclination should be laid in stripes perpendicular to the ridge, with 10 cm overlaps in both width and length. Due to the required air-tightness, the weldable roofing felt covers are placed on the specially perforated underlay layer. This type of weldable roofing felt, welds to the backing all over the underside. There are also various types of roofing felt weldable to the substrate only at the edges.
