Water pipes, in which warm water flows should be insulated with polyurethane foam shields. These ready-made insulations available on the market will significantly reduce energy losses. The thick tube cover is notched like this, that it can be put on the water pipe, and then stick both halves together with adhesive tape. By appropriately cutting the cover, all kinds of elbows and tees in the installation can be insulated. A self-adhesive tape is stuck to all contact lines of such a cover, to connect parts permanently.
