Yet at least half of the tape measures manufactured do not have the box width marked on the side, in which the tape is wound. After buying such a measure, we should immediately measure this width with an accuracy of up to 1 mm and write the value on the side of the box. This will make it much easier for us to measure internal dimensions, e.g.. width between the two side walls. With such a measurement for reading from the ruler, you need to add the saved box width, and this will not be very difficult.
