Sandpaper intended for the final sanding of wooden surfaces should be wound on a block of flexible material. This will ensure the correct pressure of the grinding grains at each point of the treated surface. Such a block can be glued from two porous pieces (soft) fibreboard. It can also be made of cork or very soft wood, e.g.. lime or poplar. A block made of pine bark is also perfect.
