After a lot of housework, there are many slats of short length and various shapes in the cross-section. Instead of throwing them away, you can think of making a few simple ones out of them, but useful files. It is enough to cover the ends of the slats with abrasive cloth of various graining. The canvas can be glued with Wikol or two-component glue. After the sandpaper becomes blunt, throw away the files. Self-made files will definitely be much cheaper than those bought in the store.
