Cutting rollers

All the elements need to be cut in the miter box, set well by pushing them towards the front wall and secured against slipping by pressing the bottom and the wall with your hand. However, in the case of roller-shaped objects, a hand alone is not enough, because the shaft turns easily during cutting. For this type of items, you still need to nail a triangular strip to the bottom of the box and between it, place the shaft or rod to be cut on the side of the box. Use your hand to secure the shaft against rotation while cutting.
