The leakage of terraces is a result of the destruction of the waterproofing insulation by the moisture that collects on it in the concrete pressure layer. During winter, the accumulating moisture turns into ice crystals. In hot summers, the insulation is in turn damaged by the water vapor that forms. The adequate durability of the insulation can only be ensured by the quick and effective removal of moisture from the ground outside the terrace. This is ensured by the Troba drainage mat, which is laid directly on top of the insulation and covered with a concrete pressing layer.
