To pinch long objects when gluing; it is enough to connect two typical shorter clamps with one metal sleeve, as shown in the picture. We connect a short steel pipe with thicker walls and a diameter that allows insertion of the arms of both clamps. Instead of a pipe, the arms of both clamps can be tied tightly by wrapping them with soft binding wire. However, tightening both clamps should not break the wire wrap. We will definitely never break the connecting pipe.
